HELLOOOOOOOO. It has been really long since I last blogged and there is a growing list of posts that I owe already :( My excuse is still because I am busy!Happily busy. ![]() Every morning now, I take a bus to the interchange, take MRT to choa chu kang, board 911 and walk down the hill towards my school with a large crowd of people (which comprises of Teck Whye Primary & Secondary students as well) ![]() And how was my first five day orientation with my MG group? (a group of about 20 with students mixed from all streams) ![]() ![]() (our mass dance + favourite move & us doing the awesome cheer) ![]() It was pretty awesome. I was blessed with a really friendly lot of group mates, and we quickly opened up and became closer to each other by the second day. Incidentally, I was also blessed with having really really great OGLs (aka facilitators), Afiqah, Yee Ching, Jeremy and Hui Ling. They never fail to try and keep us hyper, and they are loud and proud of our group, not to mention responsible:) It was pretty sad leaving them all on the last day, at our farewell party in LT2 for my MG34, and seeing the group photo they printed for us + the contact list. However then again, I was also happy - because I can finally meet my classmates and be with them. Verdict? ![]() 11A05 it was. It is my fifth day being with my class - yes my classmates, as of now, and you know what? I'm even more happier than I've been. I've such an awesome and united class. Right from the first day we've all met during our orientation 2D1N camp, we've joked, laughed, chatted together, and we're all already very comfortable with each other. Most of us, at least :) I've been with them for only five days but it feels like I've known them for a few weeks. To put it easily anyway, we're very bonded, and I am really glad and lucky to be put into A05. INCIDENTALLY, I am the class's vice chairman wahahhahaha. The one thing I am really glad about that job, other than being able to be with my great partner-in-crime Eswara, is that I get to represent OWENS!!!! In JC we have houses (I believe Yusof used to have but I've no idea why they've abolished the idea after we entered) namely Keller, Owens, Byron, Darwin, Polo and Nobel. And I'm in blue! Owens isn't as outstanding as Keller and Darwin YET, but with me, Karthik and a few bunch of other really enthusiastic people I met during the orientation camp, I'm sure we'll strive to bring it up high! I'm really proud of it:) Never even thought of being in blue actually lol. I was targetting Orange, Darwin. So, is Owens and PJ lucky to have me, or not? hahahaha JOKING. In my class, we've also have this two special ladies, who have different conditions that causes them to be partially blind. Amanda and Charmaine :) It is my first time actually being with people who're partially blind (not counting my grandma) and I am moved by their resilience and positivity. They are used to their condition, cheerful and not to mention CLEVER. Can you imagine how hard it is for them to study, yet they can do so well, well enough to be in JC and be in our class? Anyway they've both given me an insight into my life and I thank them for that B) These past few days have soared passed really quickly, and my lessons have officially begun on Thursday. I have an Econs 7 question homework already due next Thursday lol! I've pretty much adjusted to this lifestyle already, though now I must make sure I will be consistent in my studies next week onwards (where the introductions should have already all been done and dealt with). I've a great class, great friends all round from different classes so far already, great billy and karthik being my school mates + go-to-school-together mates, great teachers and a great school. My favourite panda has already spoken for me. I am proud to be a Pioneer :) An Anthonian, Yusoffian and now, a Pioneer. SOUNDS BETTER THAN JJ-IANS RIGHT. HAHAHA. I've a few bunch of other posts to update you with seriously, but time isn't on my side and I've to rush out nowwwww. I will do my best to get it all done asap if I'm not completely zoned out by the time I reach home for the next few days! AND ALSO PROUDLY ANNOUNCING: YI debate has gotten through the first round and won the first competition!!! ^-^ ever so proud of Verlynn, Jiwon and Melissa. Thanks Hsu for coming back to help too! ^-^ Aight, time for me to get off. Thank you for reading! toodlydoo. |
